If you've never heard of carob don't feel bad. Carob isn't usually advertised on the front of products and is also a newly popularized ingredient in the health food industry. And it's easy to see why. Carob tastes very similar to chocolate and is an amazing alternative because it has a lot of fiber, antioxidants, low amounts of fat and sugar, no caffeine, and no gluten.

But the best thing about carob? It's a natural hunger suppressant. It just takes a little of this powder to not feel hungry.
